Who We Are

Cyanergy Pty Ltd is a privately owned and operated Australian company working since 2009. Cyanergy is operated under a single director who has more than 10 years energy industry experience and deep knowledge of the Australian energy market. Being an Accredited Company, Cyanergy is steadfast about providing superior quality products, matched to our customer needs as part of NSW ESS, Victorian Government’s VEU and Central Government’s RET schemes to increase energy efficiency; and, helping to create a more sustainable Australia.

The Victorian Energy Upgrade (VEU) scheme was established under the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Act 2007 and commenced on 1 January 2009. The VEU scheme is designed to make energy efficiency improvements more affordable, contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases, and encourage investment, employment and innovation in industries that supply energy efficiency goods and services. Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificate or VEEC is an electronic certificate created in accordance with the Victorian Energy Upgrade scheme. Each VEEC represents one tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2-e) abated by specified energy saving activities known as prescribed activities.

The Energy Savings Scheme (ESS) reduces electricity consumption in NSW by creating financial incentives for organizations to invest in energy savings projects. Energy savings are achieved by installing, improving or replacing energy savings equipment.

The Energy Savings Scheme is governed by NSW legislation. It places a mandatory obligation on Scheme Participants to obtain and surrender energy savings certificates, which represent energy savings. More information is available at www.energy.nsw.gov.au Energy Savings Certificate or ESC (pronounced “esky”), represents one notional Megawatt hour (MWh) of energy.

The Renewable Energy Target (RET) is an Australian Federal Government scheme designed to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases in the electricity sector and encourage the additional generation of electricity from sustainable and renewable sources. Small-Scale Technology Certificates or STCs, are a tradeable certificate attached to eligible installations of renewable energy systems (including solar panels, solar water heaters, and heat pumps).

Large-Scale Generation Certificate or LGC is an electronic form of certificate created in the REC Registry by eligible entities. One LGC is equivalent to 1 MWh of eligible renewable electricity generated above the power station’s baseline.
